In a world of fast-fashion, HYW developed into an inclusive brand with select apparel for all sexes, shapes, colors and creeds. Along with embracing all, Hey Young World advances with keeping it simple and a larger purpose at it's core.

 

When shopping with us, men and women alike will discover HYW's realistic approach. With low production runs, recycled/reused clothing, and pouring back into the community through working with local manufacturers & small businesses, these efforts help to support our initiatives.  Hey Young World & Co. is a brand on it's way to a lifestyle!

THE 1989 SONG “HEY YOUNG WORLD” INSPIRED OUR NAME (BESIDES 'YOUNG' BEING OUR FAMILY NAME). SLICK RICK’S 2ND HIT SINGLE AND UNDENIABLY ONE OF HIP-HOP’S MOST POSITIVE SONGS, WAS A STYLISH MESSAGE FOR CULTURE THAT INSPIRED AND TAUGHT. SLICK RICK AT HIS DEBUT WAS KNOWN AT TIMES FOR HIS DETAILED VULGARITY (WHICH NOW SEEMS TAME) MAKING THE SONG “HEY YOUNG WORLD” STAND OUT OF IT’S OWN. THE SONG WAS A CALLING TO THE YOUTH TO STOP ADMIRING DOPE BOYS AND HUSTLERS, BUT INSTEAD TO STRIVE TOWARDS THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL AND MORE TO LIFE.
